Hi All,

I've come here, hoping that someone has some sort of advice, because I'm completely at a loss as to what's going on...

So, I'll begin with my system specs - All purchased from new, from trusted retailers, some parts were purchased about a year ago, some more recent! All parts have always been mine from new, never bought any second hand parts at all in this build!
  • ROG Strix B550-A Gaming (1 Year Old)
  • Ryzen 9 5950x (1 Year Old)
  • 4 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (3200MHz) (1 Year Old)
  • ROG Strix RTX 4080 (New)
  • Corsair HX1000w 80+ Platinum (1 Year Old)
  • 2 x Samsung M.2 970 Evo Pro 2TB (Checked health, appears good) (1 Year Old)
  • Corsair H150i Elite AIO (1 Year Old)
  • 10 x Corsair SP120 Fans (6 intake, 4 Exhaust) (New)

Okay, so now the issues I'm having... So it randomly started about 2 weeks ago. I've had the above PC build for around 4 months with no issues at all, ran like a dream! However, all of a sudden about 2 weeks ago, I got a random crash, I thought it was odd, but thought nothing of it. Rebooted and about a half an hour later, another crash... First time, both my screens went like glitchy (Screenshot attached), second time, just went black screen. Both times, I had no errors / blue screens... Checked event viewer and nothing was logged there, so I was confused and again, just thought maybe a driver glitch... Uninstalled my current GPU drivers and completed a complete fresh install, hoping that it was a bug of some kind and it would fix itself... Whilst I crashed, I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, which confused me even more... As the days went on, I was crashing more frequent, sometimes whilst playing games, sometimes whilst watching YouTube, sometimes even just after booting my PC, before even opening apps... But it was always just black screens, no errors... The only thing I noticed, is when I crash, I can hear audio for about 30 seconds to a minute afterwards which I thought was weird...
I have also tried a bios update, reseating my GPU, which did help briefly, helped for about a day in preventing crashes, however after that, resumed crashing as normal... I've tried updating board drivers, checking connections from my PSU to components and nothing has helped...

This is my second monitor, just had microsoft edge running... I was trying to play DayZ on this one... But my PC had other plans..

I'd like to just mention also, that it is completely temperamental... As it can crash every 5 minutes, or sometimes it's usable for hours before it crashes. I can't seem to figure out the trigger of the crashes either, like last night, I was playing DayZ for about 4 hours, then I decided to join with my mates, hopped in discord with them and after about 3 minutes it crashed, after that, it continuously crashed every like 2 minutes religiously whenever I tried to boot it, to to the point where I gave up for the night.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. At this point, I'm starting to think it might be my GPU beginning to die... Really hope not...
Apologies if this is in the wrong place! First post!

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Corsair AIO for my CPU and very well ventilated case (Temps rarely go above 65 degrees C)
You mention a well ventilated case and an AIO for the CPU, why not include the make and models for both?

some parts were purchased about a year ago
What parts are new and what parts are older but used by you?

completed a complete fresh install
Where did you source the installer for your OS? Speaking of OS, did you let the OS download and install drivers it thinks is right for your platform or did you install the OS in an offline mode + you manually install all relevant drivers in an elevated command i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Hi, I've editted my post with your suggested edits! :)
As for the OS, I've not re-installed this just yet. I am planning to do this tonight when I have more time. However, originally, it was sourced from windows and I manually installed all drivers myself, sourcing from manufacturers website! Except my GPU drivers, which I use GeForce Experience to install, but have always done clean installs to try prevent conflicting drivers!
