hello
my pc has been crashing when gaming, slowly getting worse over the past few months. right now i cant play a game without it crashing at some point. at first the game freezes for about 10 seconds, then the pc freezes for another 10 seconds, then the pc crashes and reboots. about 90% of the time there is no blue screen, 10% there is a blue screen but it goes away faster than i can read it.
i dont see a spike in power, cpu usage, ram usage, gpu usage, or any temperatures when the crash happens. there doesnt seem to be a consistent cause of the crash either.
i have tried reinstalling games, setting CPU to run at base frequency, running games in administrative mode and compatibility mode, updating drivers and windows, and running the pc in selective startup mode.
specs: i7 8700k, msi 980ti, 32gb ram @ 1500mhz, windows 10 home 64bit
any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated
