Hi guys,
Whenever I open certain games my pc freezes, it isn't normal freezing because the monitor looses the input connection (this makes me suspect my graphic card), I would just say that my PC can't handle the games but if you look at the specs below, they are much higher than the required specs and I have played more graphic intensive games perfectly fine.
To try and fix the problem I reinstalled windows, but it still happened. I am using windows 7 ultimate and have just used its drivers instead of the manufacturers because the discs with the drivers are not with me but where previously installed before the format. Any help on the problem will be appreciated, Thank you
Specs:
Intel Core2Duo 2.66Ghz (E8200 I think but not certain)
ATI Radeon 4870 1GB XFX
3 GB RAM (DDR2 667)
OS is on a 250GB HDD (it's a few years old but it works on everything else)
750W PSU
