Question PC depowering after new GPU and PSU

I recently installed a new 4070 dual super for my PC along with a RM1000e PSU to support it, ever since my PC has been crashing whilst gaming. These crashes seem to happen randomly, and only on specific games, some happening as soon as the game loads and others taking up to an hour. After a crash the PC will also not boot until fully depowered by turning the PSU switch off, allowing it to fully depower and then turning it on again. I've updated and performed a clean install of graphics drivers, underclocked the GPU, checked for any corrupted windows files. I thought it might have been a temperature issue but I monitored the temperatures on games that were crashing and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, with temps being around the 75c mark and the PC still crashing, whilst games that did get up to around the 90c mark ran just fine. This has become a really annoying issue and I'd like to get it fixed as I'm not sure what could be causing these crashes.

Specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 super
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6 Core 3400Mhz
Motherboard: Prime A320M-K
PSU: Corsair RM1000e (Refurbished)
RAM: 16GB
Ask if any extra info is needed

even if using the same or similar series card,
make sure to run DDU from within Windows Safe Mode and remove all existing graphics related data from the system.

then install the latest driver package available directly from Nvidia, without GeForce Experience.

you are monitoring both CPU & GPU temperatures and they both seem to be hitting the same temperature under the same games?
not likely.

RAM: 16GB
include the actual make & model,
if it is a single 16GB module / 2x 8GB modules, etc

PSU: Corsair RM1000e (Refurbished)
refurbished directly from Corsair's online shop
or offered through a 3rd party?

Update the BIOS? Update all system drivers?

Pretty low end CPU/Motherboard to be pairing with a 4070 Super really.

90C is actually high for a system, particularly the 2600. It could very well be your motherboard that is overheating as well. It has no heatsinks, and you have placed a very large GPU that is going to be putting out a lot of heat in the chassis. The GPU should self throttle at around 83C.

I suspect you have inadequate airflow in the chassis on top of all of that.
