Question PC desktop no post,no hdd activity,fans are spinning,pc does turn on

As the title says it was working just fine till yesterday . it was performing some intensive task when my mother just forced it shutdown using the power button today tried turning it on no post but led and fans are running no post how ever.plus no beeping on powering on I am just staring at a dark screen
Kindly help I have a deadline to complete
