Hi,
A while ago my pc would not boot after a restart (following me disabling the "overclock cpu" option in adrenaline). After fiddling with it for a bit, I made it boot with only one of the RAM sticks in. Since then, I've tried everything to get it to boot as it used to - try any combo of the old two sticks, buy a completely new ram kit (exact same model though) and swap positions every possible way. Cleaning my pc and re-seating the cpu. Updating my bios.
And nothing. Literally the only way my PC boots is with that single ram stick in any position on the motherboard. What is there to be done? The only thing that I can think of is that when I re-seated the cpu, I noticed there was some "debris" caught up in the motherboard pins. Really small and somewhat transparent, to the point where I tried to take pictures and I could not get a proper one. I tried a few ways to get it out, but I couldn't without fear of bending some pins so I left it there. Could that be causing it? How can I even remove it? And if not, what else can I even try?
My components:
AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8GHz
B650-PLUS
Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Dual Channel Kit
