PC does not see hardrive

I connected my old 250 gb WD caviar to my pc via coolmax and all my files including windows XP were still on there, i didnt care for it so i decided to use this drive as extra space. I cut all files from it and pasted them into my trashcan, it took like 30 minutes because i had to skip or allow some files to continue, but when i finished all windows closed and it just vanished. I dont think my PC recognize it anymore. What could have caused this?

no just an ide converter, and it worked at first

Does the PC recognize the caviar or not ? Look in disk management, look in MY PC . Sounds like a glitch. I would contact coolmax tech support. They will sort it out.

nope it doe snot, and it feels exactly like a glitch im gonna try to use my converter on another hdd and see if its a problem with that.

Drive just seems to be damaged and works only when i tap around it now.
