Hey guys.

I am currently using a PS4 controller on my PC and in every game except Unity is runs flawlessly.

When I play Unity with a controller the game will register some inputs but then not register others at all. For example I will move the camera right by flicking the stick for a second but then even though the stick has returned to the middle the game will still pan the controller to the right for a few seconds.

This happens in no other games of mine that use a controller and I have no idea what is causing Unity to do it. When I play with the Keyboard and Mouse on Unity it is fine but the Gamepad is very strange.

Any help is appreciated thanks guys!

Oh sorry, I think I've put a misleading title aha. The DS4 in the title just was shorthand for DualShock4. I am actually using something called SCP at the moment.

But as it works in all other games I don't think it's the tool that connects my DS4, I think it's just Unity. I just watched some Shadowplay recording I did of Unity and it was messed up. Random skipping and not smooth at all. I then watched some Dark Souls 2 gameplay I had and it was smooth as a button.

Very strange issue.

Is Input Mapper good then?

I use Input Mapper. It's a wonderful program and it's free. There is a donate function but that is to remove ads.

Also, you will also have to install an Xbox 360 controller driver to use it if you haven't already. This tricks the computer into thinking you have a 360 remote plugged in but it utilizes the PS4 controller.
