i have been thinking lately of buying a PS4 , i went to see its spec and i found that it had an AMD 8 core jaguar cpu , with a gpu similar to the 7870 HD with 8 gb of gddr5 ram
I also thought in buying a PC instead of a PS4 because it is cheaper and better but i got confused between the Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.40GHz and AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core @ 4GHz
and for GPU i got confused between an AMD 7870 HD and a GTX 750 Ti and i am getting 8 GB gddr3 ram , for the motherboard i don't know about it neither the PSU (i dont know about a good hard disk too) so can i get a pro tip for building a PC which would run next generation games?
PS: i got 750 $

r9 270x is equivalent to the amd 7870. They're both stronger than the gtx 750Ti.

As for the CPU, an i5 4460 minimum is enough to beat a console. The fx 8350 is around the same performance level as the i5, but slightly weaker in gaming, but slightly stronger in more production aspects. If you're gaming and not overclocking, go with a i5 4460.

Something along the lines of this would do if you don't need windows.

Strong CPU and decently strong Graphics card and a good PSU.

Solution
From reading I have done but not from practical experience it seems difficult to compare consoles to PC's as a lot depends on how well the game is designed to run on a PC. For a game which is well optimised for PC then I would expect both of the systems Calnin has suggested would give far better results than a PS4 however a game that is not well optimised for PC as it is a bad console port may not run very well on those systems.

I have read a lot about Watchdogs being an awful console port that requires a beast of a PC which far more powerful than any console just to run it reasonably.
