Question Green vertical line on the screen of my secondary monitor ?

Hi people,

This morning, a green line appeared on the screen of my second monitor, an Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ1A.
It isn't caused by the Nvidia drivers because I changed tried the monitor on two other devices (Nintendo Switch and a laptop), and the green line is still there. I know this is a "physical" damage caused by the panel.

I created a ticket for the RMA and they will review it soon, but I'm worried about this.
Could the GPU on my PC have caused this problem? I mean, that the signal from the GPU DisplayPort could have damaged the screen, or is this most unlikely?

Screen record a vid (e.g with OBS Studio) and look if the green line also appears in recording.

If it does, issue is with GPU.
If not, issue is with monitor.

Yeah, no.

All hardware dies at one point in time, often without any apparent reason.
