Question Pc fail to boot when using display port

I just built my first computer and it booted normally for the first couple days but now if I restart my computer from windows it fails to boot and the dram light comes on. If I shut the power supply off for a couple seconds then the computer will boot. This happen when computer is plugged into monitor from display port. If I use an hdmi cable it works normal and boots fine. Should I just not worry about it and use hdmi instead of display port.

ASUS prime x670e pro wifi
Corsair 32gb of ddr5 6000mhz
ssd 990 pro
Corsair rm1000x

are you positive the system is not booting at all
and that the output to display just isn't functioning for some reason when using DP?

when the issue occurs, try just swapping the cable output from DP to HDMI?

also, try a different proven working DP cable.
