I am trying to fix my old pc I haven’t used in about a year up for my brother, but for some reason when I turn it on my gpu fans go to 100 percent and I get no display and one medium beep and two short beeps. I have taken out ram and tried another graphics card.

Specs
I7 860
Ati 5850
8 gb ddr3

Solution
No problem. I checked on the Internet and it's a Gateway board, but could not find a definite answer regarding the beeps. It could be the graphics card. Try testing different one, if possible.

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute). What board using?
I have cleared cmos, I honestly think it is just the gpu, probably just dead.
