So I have a 6700 with a gtx 1080 founders edition with 8gb (2 4gb) ddr4 on a msi h110 gaming. The case is a prodogy m and I'm using a stock cooler on the 6700. I was walking towards my desk which my computer was on(admittedly a very stupid idea to put the computer on top) and i tripped on a cable, causing me to flounder around and I knocked my desk over, taking my computer with it. I'm taking it to be checked out tomorrow but wanted to checkit out myself first and discovered that the gpu was out of the pci-e slot and I tried to plug it back in(using a little bit of force)but it wouldn't plug in, so I connected my hdmi cable to my motherboard and booted it up but it showed nothing, so I was wondering what I could do to troubleshoot what's wrong with the motherboard? And I cant remove the gpu because it seems to be stuck to something on the bottom right corner of the motherboard.

You obviously don;t know what you are doing so i recommend that you do not try to boot it anymore if you can't either fully plug or unplug the GPU(!!) and go get it checked. Your attempts at troubleshooting may damage it further.

There's probably a little latch you need to press to release the gpu fully then you can seat it properly.

Turning it on with it half in and out of the slot is a very bad idea.

Do you have a hard drive or an ssd? I doubt a mechanical drive will survive a fall well...
