Hello,

I'm looking for a PC build to play in 2K at 60 FPS for the next few years, do 4K video editing, and most importantly, music production (MAO). I mainly use Cubase and work with large and demanding sound libraries, so my main goal is to have the lowest latency possible.

I have a budget of €1200, excluding SSD and GPU (I'll buy the GPU later. I need my new setup now because my current one is preventing me from working properly: i5-9600K, 16GB RAM, Radeon 580).

I mainly play on my LG C1 TV and sometimes on my AOC 2K monitor. I have no preference between AMD and Intel, I only care about performance.

Here’s a build someone suggested to me—does it hold up?
What could be modified, improved, or what might not be optimal?

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 9 9900X (~€450)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI (~€250)
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 32GB (2x16) DDR5-6000 CL30 (~€180)
Cooling: Noctua NH-D15 chromax.White (~€100)
Case: Fractal Design Define 7 White (~€150)
Power Supply: MSI MAG A850GL PCIe5 White 850W 80+ Gold (~€150)

I'm also looking for a 2TB SSD later, so if anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I also want a very quiet PC, preferably with a silent case. If possible, I’d like a case and build that can fit any future GPU. If it's full white, that's cool, but I won't spend extra just for aestheticssilence is the priority.

What do you think of this build?

Have a great day 🙂

Noise is a subjective topic as is design and aesthetics.

On paper the build you've listed is good. Have you looked into Be Quiet!'s offering on cases? They have white cases.
