Question PC for 3D animations/rendering ?

Hi I have an old PC and I would like to know if it would run older versions (2017,2016,2018) of 3ds Max.

CPU A8 6500B

GPU R5 240

Radeon HD 8570D

RAM 12GB (11.2 GB usable)

Can I do animations with it?Can I make 3D scenes with particles, molecules?
What other software can I use to make scenes in 3d?AfterEffects,Maya,Cinema4d?
I know nothing of these softwares and I have no idea if my pc will work!
Can someone help me?

In all honesty, if you can source software from 2013/2015, you'd have better luck but as you work your way up through the years/revisions, you're going to need a more capable system. In fact, refurbishing your existing system might cost more than buying an entry level system in 2024 with concurrent generation parts.

Can you work with the software's in question?
Yes you can, but the question is how much time do you have? They will take a long time to render scenes, maybe even ages.

If these softwares mentioned above are for a professional task(as in you're going to get paid for your work?) then don't bother accepting the work, your client will look elsewhere when you can't meet your deadlines.
