Hello so basically i switched ram a month ago, had some minor problems that I can live with (random bsods, boot up crashes) but i stumbled across this a week ago and it happened today again! The problem is, it does it everytime i restart my pc and record on Fl Studio (music recording software) It never do it when i make instrumentals, mix music, play around, it only do it when I record. But once again, i changed my ram a month ago and i encountered this a week ago. But other than that it never happened on any game or anything. Fl studio uses the cpu and when I record my cpu runs at 40-50% so I doubt it is the issue. If it was the ram then why would it never have happened to me on ram demanding games or softwares? Fl studio doesn’t even use ram lol. I’m so confused I hope anyone could help me :/

PC Specs :
Intel Q8300
GTX 1050 ti / 8gb
8gb ram ddr2 (the max my mb supports)
All drivers are up to date

have you tried updating gpu drivers?

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

all it does is stops non microsoft programs loading with startup, easily reversed.

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

Why did you switch your ram?
EVERYTHING uses ram.

Since you changed your ram, the first thing to do is check it out.
Run memtest86 or memtest86+
They boot from a usb stick and do not use windows.
You can download them here:
If you can run a full pass with NO errors, your ram should be ok.

Running several more passes will sometimes uncover an issue, but it takes more time.
Probably not worth it unless you really suspect a ram issue.

Your cpu has 4 cores. Likely your app is single threaded so it would be cpu limited on just one core or 25%
