PC freeze randomly

Hi.

It's my config:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 455
RAM: 2*2GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz, +4GB Kingston DDR3 1600MHz
VGA: ATI HD5670
PSU: Chieftec GPS-400A 400W

My PC randomly freezes out for 30-40 secs, mouse is moving but not reagate. Before this I had Win8, there also was the problem, so I think it's a hardwer issue.
The 4th core on CPU was unlocked, but it isn't now. What should I do to solve this problem?

Try removing the slower ram to see if it a ram issue. If it not ram it sounds like your hard drive is having issue.run hdtune read the drive smart file for errors. Also run vendor fitness tool on the hd.

I remember there was no problem when I hadn't used the 4 GB RAM module, so maybe that's the problem, I will try. But what if it1s the problem? Then I can throw out it?

If the ram under warranty with the ram vendor email them for a replacement ram stick that matches the slower ram.
