Pc freezes after a few minutes of being on

So I got a new motherboard today and replaced it with my old one, then after a few minutes that I booted up my pc the mouse and keyboard stopped working, and the screen froze. After restarting my pc the same thing happened. What can the problem be?

Possibly the windows you are running has all the wrong drivers because of the new motherbd.

You can try installing the right driver and see if that resolves it. Otherwise install windows and the right drivers.

You would get the motherbd drivers from the motherboard manufacturers website in the Support section.

to see if it driver or heat boot into the bios screen and watch your temps. make sure there not going so high that it locking up the cpu. also check that the power supply rails are fine. also make sure the new mb has the newest bios file.
