[SOLVED] pc freezes after playing game

the game in question is roblox, i know it sounds weird cause it can basically run on any system but for some reason it freezes my pc after a few minutes? ive ran windows memory diagnostic, sometimes i get a bsod and the error code is dpc_watchdog_violation, otherwise if i dont get a bsod i cant run ctrl + alt + del, no mouse or keyboard inputs and i have to force shut my computer off with the power button, any help would be good

culprit was extremely old drivers, dating back from 2006, specifically the sata ahci controller
i used drivereasy, just the free trial version and downloaded all the drivers that needed to be updated and havent had problems since
