PC Specs:
Mobo - ASUS Maximus X Formula
CPU - 8700k
GPU - EVGA 1080 Ti 11 GB
RAM - Corsair Duminator 16 GB
HDD - Samsung 850 M.2 500 GB
PSU - EVGA 850 W
CPU Cooler - Corsair h100i v2
Chasis - Corsair Graphite Full Tower

During the midst of gaming or sometimes running applications, my PC will freeze followed by my monitor restarting itself (turning off then turning on).
This freeze/display restart occurs very often especially when playing cs:go (approximately once every minute).
The PC appears to function normally until it decides to freeze/restart the display again.

Note: I’ve swapped every component possible with my secondary PC and installed Windows on a different SSD.
All drivers/firmware/BIOS are up to date.

Although CPU and GPU temps rise under load, I’ve researched that my temps are normal (CPU 30-50c / GPU 50-60c). Temps seem normal according to Corsair LINK software.

My PC was working perfectly fine until I started experiencing this freezing/crashing issue roughly 5 days ago and have been trying to fix this issue since!

The CPU/MOBO are brand new because I thought that would’ve fixed the issue but it did not.

Can it be bad firmware with Samsung?
Faulty Windows 10 USB file?

I have a Samsung 970 PRO 512 GB and I plan to re-download Windows 10 on my thumb drive and perform a fresh install.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Christian

I installed a fresh copy of Windows, updated all drivers, disabled MCE in BIOS, and I'm still experiencing that 5-10 second freeze with the monitor resetting itself.

I ran CS:GO with onboard graphics for 30 minutes with no crash but the game was extremely laggy.
I still don't under stand how it could be the PSU or GPU.
I installed the 1080Ti onto my secondary computer and it ran flawlessly for 8+ hours...
