Question PC freezes and I'm forced to hard restart

My PC used to work fine till last month when this problem began happening, the PC would freeze up and be stuck on the last frame, The CPU and GPU fans would still be running normally but you can't do anything on the PC itself, CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work, if you were listening to music than it froze you stop hearing it, etc, than I would be forced to hard restart the PC to turn it back on.

It can happen, while I'm playing a game or just browsing YouTube, sometimes it happens 1 min after I turned on the PC sometimes it's after two hours, I tried some of the common suggestions like updating drives, windows, checking if anything is overheating etc, but no luck so far.


My Specs are:

• GTX 750Ti Zotac
• I3-9100F
• H310M Gigabyte S2H 2.0
• 8gb Crucial 2666Mhz
• 1TB Western digital HDD
• 120gb Kingston SSD
• XPG Core Reactor 650W Gold 80+

Go to event viewer and under Summary of Administrative events, see if you have any critical errors, or anything else reported in conjunction with the freezing. Post it up if you do please.

There's only Kernel power there which is about the system rebooting without cleanly shutting down first it seems

Concerning your problem

Freezes are generally linked to either ram or your gpu (other options are possible but these are your main culprits)

what i would try:

use your gpu in another system to see if it also has the issue

lend/steal/get another stick of ddr4 ram to test your system with
