My desktop freezes randomly. For example I use it normal for a few days nothing happens, everything is OK, but sometimes I turn it on and it freezes (no matter idle or under load) . When it freezes hdd light turns off. After approximately 1 minute hdd light starts blinking and everything becomes normal. I checked temperatures, used hdd check software, Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool, checked hdd cables and used antivirus software but everything seems normal. My system is;

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
RAM: GSKILL Ripjaws16 GB(2X8)
CPU: AMD FX8350
Graphic Card: Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X
SSD: Kingston Hyper-X 120 GB
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
PSU: Cooler Master V1000
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master TPC 812
Case: Cooler Master Storm Sniper
OS: Windows 10 Pro

Thank you all.

Solution
If everything else fails, then it would be a very good idea. It is always a good idea to have everything installed to the latest versions, when it comes to troubleshooting.

From personal experience:
I used to have a strange problem where my PC would just randomly freeze. The only way to revive the PC was the Hard Reboot. I struggled with this problem for about 6-9 months. The problem would go away and then come back. I broke my brains, installing new drivers, reading google, etc ,etc. At the end of the road I tried the IO Drive Booster 4. I was iffy about this software, because I like to know what is going on with my PC, but I was so damn tired of the problem. So, I installed the soft on a separate drive, using Revo Uninstall. God...

I switched high performance but it happened again

God forbid for some extra crap on my pc. After I ran the Drive Booster it found quiet some drivers that were outdated/very old. And I thought I checked everything. So, I am not pushing this on you, but if everything else fails you can try to update your drivers using that booster. It helped me and I would not recommend something bad, especially on a site like this, where I get help myself.

You can run the free booster, let it inspect and THEN you can google the drivers that are old and download yourself from the manufacturer's site. This way you will know what you are installing, if you dont want to go auto way.

With that being said, lets see if you can remedy your problem.
