PC Freezes under load

I have tried to figure this out for a good while and this problem has caused lots of stress. What happens is the PC which i built about 2-3 years ago freezes while playing a game usually after about 15 minutes of GTA: V It just started doing this about a week ago. I have tried a different graphics card with the same problem persisting I ran memtestx86 to check my ram for errors and it boils down to being the CPU ,Mobo or the PSU if anyone could provide some insight on how to go about troubleshooting and finding what causes this problem that would be great.

but this happens to all games for me

in my case its confirmed cpu, psu or mobo problem (same as yours)
