PC Freezes when playing Fallout 4, have to hard restart

I just upgraded my RAM, GPU, and CPU fan before getting Fallout 4. It detects Ultra settings now, but I lower to High for better performance. At random times when playing, sometimes as soon as it loads my profile, the whole PC will freeze and I am forced to do a hard restart. I've completely uninstalled the nvidia drivers and reinstalled them.

The gpu doesn't overheat and I have used the EVGA Precision X to ensure that the fans are going while I play. I've tried using the previous stick of 4GB ram and it still happens so I am not sure if it is the RAM. The BIOS is not the latest, but I've read that it is not necessary to update it. I have the RAM sticks in the dual-channel slots but that are unganged. I don't know if that makes a difference. I've also set the CPU to D.O.C.P.

I've used a power supply calculator and it looks like I have plenty, even though the PSU could be faulty I guess. I was able to run games like Arma 3 at high settings for a long period of time with no issue. I just have no idea what is causing this.

These are my specs:

Mobo: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 965
RAM: 2 x 4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5
PSU: Mod X Stream Pro 600W

At random times the computer will restart entirely on its own. It usually freezes during a game, and randomly restarts in use.
I've ran the chkdsk command and no issues were found, so I don't think there is a bad sector on the hard drive. It does not BSOD, it just simply freezes or restarts randomly.

iodd it says ocz on some pictures and other it says formerly pc power and cooling.

At times it also just restarts on its own. I usually have to restart it myself, but it will randomly reboot. Sometimes I'm not even playing a game and this occurs. This is my brother's build and he did not have a good budget at the time so I guess he went with some weird stuff. I will try getting a better power supply.
