PC freezes, white stripes on screen

Since the last couple of months my pc randomly freezes and get some weird stripes on the screen. My hdd isnt working and i am forced to shut down my pc by holding the power button. Sometimes (not that often) my pc just shuts down/ like turns off and it reboots itself back to my desktop. I recently got a new hdd and ssd aswell. I think it either my PSU or GPU but i want to be sure.

All my drivers are up to date.
Specs:
Intel Core i5 6400
MSI Radeon R7 370 Gaming 2G
CORSAIR VS Series VS450
2x HyperX FURY DDR4 4GB
Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P

This happens whenever im gaming or just browsing the internet.
Ive also searched the forums but i see its either the PSU or GPU
My PC is about 2,5 years old

Only way to be sure which part is failing is to test the part in another system or a replacement in yours. In your case, either is as likely but I'd test the video card first. Your PSU is the lower quality Corsair and it's just about at the limit to run a R7 370 card so if the card is OK in another system with a good PSU, try another PSU.

I see, but i got this PC for like 2,5 years and only in the last couple of months this happens. So i wonder why it happens now.

I do not really have the option to do that. But ill try to run it without the graphics card if possible. And see if it happens again.
