So my PC has randomly been overheating a lot recently. I play League and my FPS used to be around 150+ in teamfights and 200-300 in the base. Recently my FPS has dropped to 80-100s in teamfights. My PC has also been freezing due to overheating and my program called Core Temp says my PC is running at 70-80C while I play league now. My PC used to run 60C at max and I have no idea why my computer is overheating so much. I know my PC is not that clean it is pretty dusty and I need to clean it but that shouldnt increase it by 20 Degrees! I built this PC a year ago and it never had any problems till now. I'm not that good with PC stuff so I'm not sure what to do! Any help would be great, this is my build

My Computer also runs around 31-66C just watching YouTube videos... which is really high.

Solution
Dust it out for sure as well. Dust clogs the intakes and exhaust vents, preventing air from flowing properly through your computer and reducing or entirely preventing any heat from escaping from the case.
Have you checked all your fans are working and are connected properly? Mainly CPU and GPU. Maybe you have your GPU fan turned off through software. If not you can investigate further by checking proper ventilation and don't underestimate dust especially on core parts.

Hello, this may sound stupid but i'm not too great with computers so how would I check if the fans are working properly? Is there a software that I could use to see if there running properly?

Hi, Easiest way to check is to just open your computer case and take a look. if the fans are spinning.

The red is where your CPU fan will be, this should be spinning at ALL times.
The Blue is where your graphics card is, the fans (if your graphics card has it) will be on the bottom, they should be spinning when under load (when you have a game open)

Go launch a game and take a look inside, you might also have fans on the front of your computer and back, it's worth to check if those are spinning as they bring cold air in and take hot air out which cools all computer hardware.

Seems that my fans are running fine, according to CoreTemp my CPU is getting really hot even though the fan on it works and same with the one that brings the heat out (the back fan)

I bought some compressed air and it will be here by tomorrow, I will update if it works!

I've got a very big computer case with all kinds of ventilation. I had some heat issues about two months ago, realized I hadn't dusted it in forever, hit it with some canned air, and it's been happy ever since. It wasn't even fully clogged, but at least two fans were basically getting zero airflow (mostly the ones near the bottom of the case).
