Okay I desperately need help. I've tried everything. My pc randomly freezes/locks up for no reason at all. Usually it happens if I've been on my pc for 2hrs+ and then when it happens I'm forced to do a hard restart to fix it, only when I do that, when the computer is turning back on, its likely to freeze again at the windows logo while its loading up. I have tried everything. I've switched video cards, switched power supplies, Switched Ram dimms, I've ran memtest86 overnight with everything appearing okay(Funny enough, it doesn't seem to freeze while in the bios or on memtest, so it might be a software issue) , I've ran diskcheckup and everything says it's okay, My bios is up to date, I moved the video card to a different pcie slot, Updated all my drivers I set my cpu back to stock speeds, I've taken my entire pc apart and put everything back together, I've even tried using a different power cord into a different wall plug. And now I'm desperate. I have no idea what is causing this the only thing I can think of is maybe the motherboard is dying or the hard drive? Maybe I have a bent pin in my cpu? I know it's not the gpu or psu because I've switched both those and it still occurs. anyway, here are my specs.

Cpu - Fx 8320
Mobo - Gigabyte 970a UD3P
Memory - 8gb adata ddr3
Gpu - Club 3D royalking r9 280
Hdd - Some Toshiba 2tb 7200rpm
Psu - EVGA 600b
Please help I am desperate

Solution
Yeah that's fine then. Max is 62C on cores, 75C on socket.

So wait for Win 10, or do a fresh install now. Either way, I don't think you want to carry over any corrupted files to Win 10.

So do you think I should just wait 6 days for windows 10 and then see if installing that fixes it? I'm sure its not the other thing because I only have light overclocks

With my hyper 212 evo it never goes above 50 degrees
