Hi all! Having a few issues with my pc and hope someone can point me in the right direction.

My machine has been fine but i thought id fully reset by installing a fresh image of W11. When doing so my PC is now crashing at random points.

This hasn't happened before I done the fresh install and not had a problem for as long as I've had the PC (3 years). I've booted it in safe mode and as far as I can see it seems to run fine for hours. W11 is currently installed onto my M.2

I've tried Reseating RAM, Tried multiple different RAM sticks, Reflashing BIOS, Resetting CMOS battery, Tried installing W11 onto an SSD, Disabling C-States, Stress tests on both GPU & CPU. I'm currently stuck and unsure of how to proceed further. Any advice would be great!

Current Specs are

CPU - Intel i7 12700KF
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
RAM - NETAC Shadow II DDR4 16GB
PSU - Corsair RM750X
MOBO - ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4
SSD - Seagate FireCuda 530

If anyone requires further info, please let me know and I'll happily provide

What are the system's complete specs (make/model of ALL installed components)?

Have you tried getting a "fresh" installation image directly from MS, even using a different USB drive?

Anything overclocked (CPU, GPU, memory)?
Thanks for the Reply!

(Will update main post to reflect this!)

Fresh install is directly from Microsoft using the installation media.

Nothing is OC, currently using the BIOS default.

Create a bootable USB with Memtest and test your memory.

2x8GB would perform better, by the way.
I agree, though having done some testing with multiple sticks. Only one of the slots seems to boot. Though currently on safe mode with one stick on running some low heavy programs and seems to be ok.

Unsure if that could be the problem of the freezing.

Thanks for all the replys guys! currently on my longest run without it crashing. Unsure what i've done to do this, i followed a reddit forum that told me to go through device manager and go through every single device and check for drivers.

Will be doing some gaming to see how it goes.
