Not sure where to put this...So I was I Fortnite and after a game my PC froze in the loading screen. I manually reset it and tried to load the game. As soon as it got into the loading screen it froze. Now it's doing it with every game as well as Photoshop. It's able to go on the browser and surf fine there as well as navigate the settings in Windows. I updated my driver because there was a new version and it's still doing it...I just built this computer a month ago and it's been fine.

Specs: Windows 10 64 bit.
RYZEN 7 2700X
ROG StrixX470-F gaming motherboard
16 GB g.skill rgb ram
Corsair 850w psu
Msi Radeon R9 280x 6gb graphics.

Any help would he greatly appreciated.

I can't get in game to try that. But the cpu came with the wraith prism cooler which had a thin layer of paste preapplied. I put it on backwards and had to take it off and put it back ok which looked like it spread it out and made it too thin. I bet it's used up already.

I'm in the bios, actually and my cpu voltage is at 1.464-1.48ish. Is that too high?

Idle CPU temp in the bios is at 55C. That's pretty high for sitting in the bios right?

Ok. Just not sure how to turn it down now.

I changed it to manual and override to 1.35 but it's still at the same levels.

Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the issue. I have looked on other forums and videos and apparently that's just a normal of the world ditch. I was able to lower it though just in case. Temperatures seem to be fine when running photoshop. I think it may just be my graphics card crapping out on me. Either that or something is very wrong with the driver, cause even my razer synapse Program free down and said that it couldn't connect with the gaphics hardware, which is weird because it shouldn't need to use it that much. Could there just be a big problem with the driver and the games can't utilize it properly causing it to freeze my computer?

That didn't work 🙁 All connections are tight. Cleaned the driver in safe mode and reinstalled. Still freezing. If it's a temp issue, could it really be overheating that fast? Temps stay in the 40s when idle, actually, according to the ROG software that controls fan speeds and all that jazz. When I try to start up a game like Overwatch or Fortnite the fans immediately speed up and get loud, then it freezes and they slow down.

Still hasn't worked. Any other suggestions? I can't find any new answers anywhere else but thousands of people seem to have had the same issue.

It's running st 2133 set on auto in the BIOS. I set the voltage override to 1.35.

2133MHz is the SPD rating of the memory. (Serial Presence Detect)

That's okay for initial boot up, but you need to set the memory parameters in the BIOS.

I suggest you download the ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING Bios's Manual (English)
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X470-F-GAMING/HelpDesk_Manual/

Set AI Overclock Tuner to [Manual] p.17
Memory Frequency p. 18 (3200MHz or lower)
DRAM Timing Control p. 18
1) starting with DRAM CAS# Latency
This is your first number which is 16
2) set next three DRAM Timing settings after to 18-18-38
DRAM voltage p. 25 (this memory requires 1.35v)

Tested Speed 3200MHz

SAVE & Exit BIOS

If 3200MHz is too much, you can try 2933MHz.

Why would all of that suddenly matter now? It's been working for a month since I built the thing.
