Question PC freezing when Multitasking but Okay when Gaming

Hi maybe you guys can help me out in figuring out what seems to be causing this.

When I'm playing games like GTA V, Two Point Hospital, or Sims 4, my PC can handle hours and hours on end without any problems. But the moment I start browsing the internet and make like 2 or 3 tabs it suddenly starts to freeze which demands a restart or even just doing some minor Multitasking causes freezing. I know the specs are fairly old but this just started happening last week.

Did memtest86 two passes no problems, did prime95 no freezes or anything. It basically just happens when I'm really doing mundane work like browsing, or opening a new tab, or opening something else when a browser is open.

PC Specs:


CPU Intel Xeon X3430
GTX 750
Motherboard Biostar TH55B HD
120 GB Kingston SSD as Boot Drive
300 GB HDD for storage
PSU Mon power 500w, max Power 600w

May i know your ram (memory ) size?

The things is, may your memory is good enough, but application itself not suitable.

you can unintstall and reinstall your browser, with restart each of the process.

if problem keep happen, you may choose other product of browser eg:chrome turn into opera or firefox

if and only if, disamble your PC, and remove the dust trap at fan or the cpu cooling fins.

3x 4Gig Rams, and it happens sporadically really, not just browsing on chrome.i

I dont seem to freeze when in safe mode tho

Ok so i just decided to uninstall my gpu drivers, and im not experiencing any freezing.

Does this mean my gpu is dying? or a driver issue?
