Hello, in December 2016, I had very bad computer components and got new components from my parents in Christmas present. So, back then my computer was lagging (before I got my new components) and since then it has worked perfectly fine with my new computer and so, but the last month I've been getting alot of freezelags while playing games like WoW and CSGO, so I decided to buy myself some more RAM since i only had 8GB and while playing wow/csgo, then only 3-4gb was available so I did a some form of research on my computer and found out that 2 of my ram sticks were broken so I obv had to get new ones, I bought 4x4 ram= 16GB ram, and the first 2 days everything was fine, I had like 2 freezelags at my maximum on those 2 days in total, so I definitely thought my ram was the issue that caused the freezelags. But some days later the exact same problem goes on, freezelags out of nowhere while playing games like wow and csgo, I don't really see what the issue could be? The only bad and only component I have in my computer right now is my 4 year old harddrive which is a toshiba 465GB harddrive which isn't that good, but I don't really think the harddrive could cause all the freezelags right?

My components:

Graphic card: GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Processor: AMD FX-6350
Motherboard: ASUS M5A-97
RAM: 16GB Corsair (4x4)
Power Supply: Corsair 550W

One thing that I also have to note is that my computer never freezes while surfing on the internet or watching youtube etc, it only freezes while im playing games.

Hard to say without more detail, but the first thing I would check is for heat buildup. Make sure your GPU and CPU are staying cool. Upgrade your heat sinks and fans if your getting temps above say 30C

Absolutely! Heat can be a big problem on PCs. Replace those fans and blow that baby out! If you have the room, a water cooler is your best bet. I have one for my CPU and another for my GPU. Temps never get above 35C even while heavy gaming. I run a GTX970 and i5-6600.
