My bios has three settings, power saving, normal, and optimal performance and I wanted to try out optimal performance to see if it would fix some fps issues. After exiting the bios. It froze on a black screen. I had to manually reboot but now no display shows up and my PC is no longer detected by my monitor. All of the fans start up and everything lights up including the pciex16_1 light ( I don't know if this was lit before this problem)

What could have gone wrong and where do I go from here to fix it? I've never encountered something like this so it's very much out of my league

Just to clarify this is not a new build and has been working fine for years until now.

Resetting the bios worked thanks!

I simply switched my bios from normal, to optimal performance which is a feature of my motherboard. Resetting my bios fixed it but as soon as I tried switching it to optimal performance again, the same thing happened. I'll just be avoiding that setting from now on.
