So, im putting this in cooling section because i think it might be the problem but idk. basically i built my new PC 4 days ago. Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
Asus Rog Strix B450-F
G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver 16GB (2x8GB) 3600mhz
Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Windforce OC
Corsair TX650M

The PC has been running perfectly until now. Ive been playing games on it like GTA V, ARK Survival Evolved, Subnautica, etc. and it has been running perfectly no prob. Today i encountered a new problem (well idk what it is). I left the PC on while i was studying n i noticed the RGB on my RAM (it has the rainbow effect on) suddenly stopped cycling and stayed still. When i tried to move my mouse it didnt move, pressed Start button (and then all the other buttons) on keyboard, nothing happened. PC literally froze. I restarted PC and it started working normally again. Im writing this post literally right after turning on the PC now. Shud i be worried? Or was it just a one time thing?

Also my cooler (using the stock Wraith Prism) is weird, it keeps ramping up and slowing down without reason. i leave my PC on idle without any applications running but it still keeps ramping up n slowing down every 2 sec constantly. Idk if its normal. (Ive set its speed on high on the button of the cooler itself)

All help is appreciated 😀

Live kernel Event 144, Parameter 1

GPU.

Just as a reference:

https://www.windowsphoneinfo.com/threads/how-to-fix-the-livekernelevent-144.315110/

Use that link and search for similar links to verify that the code and parameters match the error being presented.

Do not be tempted into downloading other "fixes" and software presented by the links you find.

Current focus is to just verify or confirm that the GPU is the root cause.

Other thoughts:

Are you overclocking the GPU? If so, stop overclocking to determine if the system stabilizes.

If not, then reinstall the GPU drivers. Download via the manufacturer's website, reinstall, and reconfigure.
Look in Reliability History for a log entry (or entries) that correspond to the time of the freeze.

Look in Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe what is running, what resources are being used, and to what extent.

There may be a pattern that matches the ramping ups and slowing downs.

Watch the temperatures as well.
