Question Pc game crashing

My friend recently got a pc, and almost every game he plays crash’s. We have tried for hours to fix it and couldn’t, so he went and returned it for a new one. He got the new one and the same exact thing is happening. I’m assuming it has to be an internet issue or a windows setting. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try? Thank you.
