PC Gaming Modding

Whats the deal with modding on PC. I am a console gamer but am transitioning to PC because i understand it is superior, but i keep hearing modding on PC is so much fun. Is PC the only thing you can mod on.

Modding a game is adding a thing called 'mods" which are basically unofficial dlc and addons made by the community. It is very fun and can make a game into a totally different experience. Bethesda's games are the most common to mod. But you can actually use mod's on Skyrim: Special edition and Fallout 4 on the PS4 and Xbox One, but it is not nearly as good as PC.
