Even if it was just the 6700/MB & 16gb by itself it's worth $250 easily but the OP is getting a full system. Just make sure the PSU is decent and pair it up with a 1050 ti and you'll have a quite nice gaming PC for around $400.

There is no such thing as i7-8600.

i7 8600 doesn't exist. The gtx 745 is NOT a gaming card and will have to be upgraded if you want to play games that are harder to run than something like cs:go or league of legends.

I'm sceptical because if that gtx 745. Those were used in dell systems that used 6th and 7th gen intel cpu's not 8th gen as they moved to either 900 or 1000 series cards there.

Still a great deal either way. The original seller probably kept whatever nice GPU it came with for themselves. Worst-case-scenario OP can upgrade down the line.

How are you certain about that? There are also xps desktops.

I think it's misleading advertisement/fraud. I can't even find 8600 or 8700 dell xps with a gtx 745

If you are talking $250 USD then the only reason I would buy this is because it's a fully running DDR4 system and building a new gen system with similar or greater specs without a GPU would cost well over $250.

But I wouldn't recommend buying from a seller who provides misleading product description in a attempt to make fraudulent sales. You don't know what else is wrong with that computer. The seller cannot be trusted and will most likely reject refunds/returns.

Not bad at all for 250$. You'll need to upgrade the gpu if you don't want to play at low settings 30fps on most games tho.

It is pretty sketchy however that the seller is listing specs wrongly.

It's not misleading. It's an XPS desktop with a 6700 and a GTX 745. Fraudulent isn't nearly the word to describe it. It's just a solid deal. Why would you say that the seller cannot be trusted?

The seller attempted to list an 8th gen processor is misleading enough of a red flag to me. The fact that TC needed to contact the seller to find out the model # which is what the seller should've provided in the listing in the first place is bad enough. We don't even know the source of the seller or where it's listed. If you're willing to take responsibility if TC gets a fraudulent/DOA system be my guest.

Unless this was a face to face craigslist type deal where TC can fully test the system is working fine I wouldn't recommend it. If it's protected site like eBay which utilizes Paypal in the event of fraud TC can dispute it then by all means go for it.

So I got it for 250. Dell XPS 8900 - MT - Core i7 6700 3.4 GHz - 16 GB - 1 TB. 6th gen i7. It was an Offerup deal. I was able to test the system. Everything worked and was in really good condition. Thank you all for the advice
