Not sure if this is the right topic for my problem but i'll guess it is.

So pretty much every time I close a game like H1Z1, GTAV, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare my PC becomes mostly unresponsive. All windows I had open in the background like Chrome, Steam and Skype stop responding when I click on them. My mouse cursor would then freeze in place in which I would spam click. When I do click, it makes a beep sound exactly like this: https://youtu.be/YuolB3uESyA?t=11 then the cursor would become unstuck but move in a jerky motion for a few seconds. This would go on for about 5-10mins until my PC runs smooth again. Now I'm leaning towards that it's a memory leak issue but is it possible that my hard drive is crapping out? Thanks.

Specs:

I think your HDD is bad, Or needs Defragmentation... Download Defraggler and do that, And download Crystal disk info, It will tell you if it's healty or bad...

Alright, I have the defraggler running and will report back sometime today if my problem gets better. I also ran crystal disk info before the defrag and it said healthy.

Remaining time says >1 day so will probably report back tomorrow. How does defraggler differ from the standard disk defragmenter in Windows 7? Also how come everything is super fragmented even though the Windows 7 defragmenter is scheduled to run once a week?

Well i dont know what dose it rly do... i think main difference is that Defraggler is more objective and u can see what is going on in wich sector of the HDD :)..... i use it for a few years and it's rly good program

Wow. Thanks for the solution. My PC no longer gets sluggish after testing with some games. When i'm just browsing, I feel my PC just runs twice as fast as before. Been trying to figure this problem out for a while too. Again, many thanks :)
