PC GPU Problem?

Hello,
I recently built my first computer and everything works fine until I connect my graphics card to the psu then the computer won't power on at all.

Here is my system:

mobo: asus m4a88td-m
cpu: amd phenom ii 965
ram: 8 gb corsair vengeance
psu: 600 w modular ocz
gpu: sapphire radeon 6870

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The card or the PSU can be bad if you are using all the right connections.
