PC graphic card upgrade

best cpu to add the gtx 660 to my pc
currentley has a intel e5700 cpu
but only got a 300w psu at the moment looking to a 450w as it says on graphic card specs

Just got a bigger budget thinking about getting the gtx660 or gtx 760 and then upgrading my CPU in the summer which graphic card would you think is best for me?

If in the budget the 760 is a good choice, up from it performance wise would be a 7950
