Hi guys, last night when i was waking my pc from sleep, the debug code e3 showed on my motherboard which is: OS S3 wake vector call

they pc took a few extra seconds for the display to show picture, and then everything was fine. This only happens every once in a while.

Does anyone know the causes this error? and how it can be fixed. thanks

Are your suspend modes(i.e S3) in your BIOS enabled? I'd also ask you to run memtest86+ for at least 10 passes and see if any errors crop up.

Is this a clean install of Windows 10 or did you migrate via an upgrade path? Are all your drivers for your motherboard and your graphics card up to date?

Do you connect to the internet via your ethernet or via a wireless adapter? If you connect via Wi-Fi then disable your LAN port in BIOS and uninstall the device drivers in OS. If you use the LAN port to connect to the internet then disable Wake-on-LAN following this guide.
