Hi, recently I upgraded from a FX-8320E system with used parts. The motherboard is a Intel DX79TO on BIOS VERSION 0460 the CPU is a i7-3960X. I swapped some parts and when I installed my SSD with Windows already installed in it the PC would not boot confused I installed it in 2 other systems and it worked fine. So I decided to take out the 2X4GB RAM sticks that came with it and installed a 1x8GB RAM stick I installed it in the 1st Dimm and got a code 60 error so I installed it in the 2nd Dimm and instead of seeing the Non Bootable device error it said"The system BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt (s).

Possible causes include recent changes to BIOS Performance options or recent hardware changes.

Press 'Y' to enter BIOS Setup or press 'N' to cancel and attempt to boot with previous settings. Then after pressing N it said"PXE-E61: MEDIA TEST FAILURE, CHECK CABLE

PXE:M0F: EXITING INTEL BOOT AGENT.

NO BOOTABLE DEVICE - INSERT BOOT DISK AND PRESS ANY KEY". Also while trying to make a new Windows 10 Install via USB the Windows logo flashes for a brief second and a few seconds later I get greeted with a Orange and White screen. I searched up the issue saying something about Bitlocker but I never had it or heard of it. Lastly the codes that pop up when dealing with the NO Bootable Device error is always E6 to E7. Thanks for reading

If it's an MBR disk then the BIOS needs to support CSM and have it enabled so it can read the boot sector.

If it's a GPT disk (most likely) then the EFI executable to boot Windows and the fat32 partition it's stored in needs to be in the motherboard's NVRAM.

Some motherboards detect an existing EFI partition and add all it's files to the boot list automatically, some don't. I had a very similar issue before where one specific motherboard wouldn't detect my copy of Linux and I had to reinstall GRUB to fix it, Windows was detected fine though.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Reinstall your OS after recreating your bootable USB installer for Windows 10 and you should be fine. Install the OS in offline mode and manually install all relevant driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

On second thoughts, can you please post your specs like so;
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Since you performed an upgrade to your platform, we should be seeing two sets of specs, one for before and one for after.

Hi, thanks for asking I'll try my best to get all the info needed thanks again:
Current Specs:
Intel Core i7-3960X
Enermax Liqmax III 120
Intel DX79T0 Mobo
Timetec 8GB DDR3 1600 MHZ
SSD: Bilksem/Generic 120 GB
HDD 1: Seagate Constellation ES 1TB
HDD 2: HGST Laptop Drive 1TB ( forgot model )
EVGA GTX 1060 6GB 1 FAN
XFX XT 500W
Zalman Z1 Neo
Windows 11 Home x64
Generic Dell Monitor (720p) there's a sticker saying it was made August of 2013 )

I bought the PC with its original parts second hand on fb marketplace and the owner kept all the original packages so I'm guessing the PSU was in there since the parts were brand new.

And for the original specs everything was pretty much the same as it was except the CPU was the AMD FX-8320E and the motherboard was the Gigabyte-970A-DS3P.

This is pretty much all I can gather and I'm sorry if I wasn't able to give out the proper info but thanks for asking again.
