Hi!

My PC Specs

MBD: ASUS B650E-E
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7800X3D
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12A
GPU: GigaByte 4080 Aero
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR5 6000
PSU: be quiet! STRAIGHT P 11 PLAT. 850W

So a week ago suddenly my PC started to freeze while gaming. I have not updated any drivers just before.
I play Rocket League and after like 15-30 min. the game freezes for a couple seconds and it gets worse if i keep playing.

It also looks like it disconnects my controller. When the game runs again the controller does no inputs for a few seconds.

It was kinda weird when i played Elden Ring: I got these freezes again and after the controller registered only the analog stick inputs
but no others like R1 R2 O X...

I did a full reinstall of the System with all Drivers up to date and also BIOS but it still happens.
Yesterday i kept playing until the freezes became so long and then it crashed the first time.
The game just closed, i never got a Bluescreen.

So i guess its a faulty hardware component.
I did the Windows RAM check and got zero errors.

It gave me the 0xc0000005 Error when it crashed
And on the first screenshot you see the cpu usage spike at the moment die freezes happen.
Temps always seem normal.

The PC has 2 more symptoms, the right RAM Slot doesnt always change the RGB to the static blue i choose after startup, happens only now and then.
And some noise when im in game which is related to the fps. So its a higher frequent sound the higher the fps. I dont know if that is coil whine since
i hear it from the speakers.

Do you guys have any ideas? Any tests i could do?
Which hardware component i should change first?

Thanks

1. You can go into 'Services' and disable 'GameInput' service and reboot, then try a game that was causing issues.
2. You can try booting into 'Safe Mode with Networking' and see if you can start a game that would normally give you trouble. Try this first and re-post results pls.

Does any other programs freeze or crash, such as windows built-in applications or other installed software, or is it only related to games?

Only with games (tried 3 different games). Games run super smooth for like 20-30 min and then it starts and gets worse the longer i keep playing.
So far no freezes or crashes with anything else, i only browser web or watch streams tho.

Edit:
I did also some stresstests with Prime95 for like 30mins
CPU and RAM got 0 Errors and Temps were always ok

Later i will check GPU with Furmark

If this also doesnt show anything what would you replace first?

I kinda think PSU might be the problem, or motherboard

My initial thought is that its surprising no BSOD has been generated; if it was CPU/Motherboard/RAM I'd expect at least one to be generated with all these issues.

Given that it seems like performance gets worse over time, the obvious suspicion would be overheating. I'd verify what temps you are seeing using various tools (HW Monitor, etc.) and make sure nothing is getting too hot while gaming.

74c fo the chipset seems a bit much as well. Its within tolerances, just kind of high. Have you tried limiting the power limit for the graphics card to 80% of normal? This will reduce FPS by a few % but can also lessen the stress on the power delivery for the GPU. This is a decent test for a few different issues.

If it were the PSU you would be getting black screen shutdowns, not freezes. Motherboards are usually a diagnosis of exclusion because there is no direct way to test the motherboad specifically unless you know that everything that is connected to it is in working order.
