I have gotten a new motherboard (ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING) and after a while of installing everything in it came down to the ram, ready to install into dram slots 2 and 4 to enable dual channel, all for it to arise to the led telling me orange = dram error and wont post, i tried searching up myself and no avail, i tried all slot changes from 1 to 3, to attempting one slot only and boom it works. Currently i have one Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB ram stick installed and it works, but ideally i would like to try to fix this so I can use both sticks.

Hey there,

So, just to be clear...You had one stick of ram in, which is 16gb? And you are adding another one?

Are there two different sticks of ram? What is the make and model of each. If they are not part of a kit, and you simply added any other stick, then this is the issue. Unless they are both exact same model form a 2 x8 gb kit, they may not work together, as you've found out,

Hey sorry i took so long i fell asleep lol, so basically i bought a 3gb all together so 2x16 ram slots, and they both came in a kit so they work with each other, and my old motherboard they worked fine but i mean tbf there was only two slots cant really go wrong there, however with new motherboard cause it has 4 slots i need 2 and 4 for dual channeling but it just doesnt work. the model is the Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB.)
