[SOLVED] PC Infected?

Good morning,

Unfortunately, someone, got access to our family Windows 10 PC. Apparently, the following changes and more were made: After backing up files, etc., a new copy of Windows 10 using the original disk was installed, a perfectly good hard drive was changed out.

For starters, I have the following questions:

Is there software available to guarantee whether the PC is infected or not?

If infected, could the PC infect other computers on the same network including Apples?

If infected, could the PC copy info that is put on the network by one of the other computers?

How did you determine that?
Why would anyone replace your hard drive? That doesn't seem believable.

More likely - windows automatically updated to latest 1909 version.
