I had this problem previously when the pc did not have any power for about half a day or something like that. The fix that always worked then was reinserting ram a few times. It's doesn't seem to do the magic n I have been trying for about 2 days now.

All the fans and lights are working. I'm not hearing the single beep in startup which I used to previously.

Can anyone help me solve this issue? Thank you.

What I tried.

  • Switching Ram slots

    Trying a different Ram

    Reinserting GPU

    Changing SATA slots

Removing CMOS battery for a few mins

    Removed dual monitors

    Tried with VGA and HDMI

Anomalies observed.

  • My mobo doesn't seem to have the CMOS jumper cap. And also my pc has a 2 pin CMOS jumper
My specs.

  • MSI 970-g43

    GTX 960 gaming edition

    8 gigs Corsair 1600MHz

    AMD FX 8350

    Dual monitors
What I can't do for the next few days.

  • Try my current components in other PC's.

I'm assuming you are unplugging the pc when you remove the battery. I don't know if it really helps but I always hold the power button a few seconds after I unplug it and pull the battery. Then wait 4-5 minutes to be sure.
