Pc is overheating

Just got my gtx 770 msi twin frozr oc edition with corsair vs650w i5 3350p 8 ram 1600mhz also the psu main cable the one that is connected to the mobo i think its 12 pin or 24 idk is gong thru my 2 ram sticks is this bad? also i can't say any C but when i touch the back panel case its very hot also the cpu stock cooler is very hot that was done by 10 mins playng watch dogs on high-ultra with 1440x900 res

My pc is from 2013 the mid (created) i bough it at the end of 2013 i didn't change nothing else and no i didn't put a new paste so i need a new stock cooler and thermal paste can you recomend me some?

badboyrog2 has hit the nail on the head on this one. The only time i have ever used a stock cooler is on a "test bench" and only to confirm CPU is working. Grab and aftermarket cooler.. clean your CPU with an alcohol wipe.. Let it dry (don't touch it with your fingers).. put your thermal paste on.. install your new cooler (don't let paste dry).

Also i'd like to know what kind of case you have and how many case fans you have installed.

Lots of random factors that can make a big difference here. Last time you cleaned out any dust in case.. how hot the room is.. How much space your case has around it.. That kind of stuff can all make a huge difference.

That's just normal , most up to date systems have at least 4 case fans to cool everything up

4 fans lol man that's insane i though only orgin pc's have 4 fans or any corsair?cooler master but those cases will be like 800$

Just used this case for my newest rig. It's a personal favorite. Only 120bucks on Newegg.

Your case does lack in the cooling department. Looking around the web it seems this may not be your best bet for upgrading into.

Yeah it was hard getting that fattie 770 inside of it well new pc case it will be hard for me to get all the metal from that one take it to the new one hm dunno i maybe do than in 5 month casue i may sli but do you guys have any solutions for that 5 months?

Now your talking! That would make for a decent case. Just make sure and check the measurement of your 770 for any case but i have no doubt it will fit.

cpu cooler or case cooler. just mentiong it in watch dogs 7 min gameplay with this gpu on high-ultra it getted 71C is that normal?

Ok either case would be fine. Both come with front and rear fans.

And i was talking about a cpu cooler. 71C is pretty normal but if it getting that high that fast (you said 7 mins) it is worrisome. which is why the cpu cooler was mentioned.

that PSU is pretty decent... All a power supply does is cool itself anyways. it is not supposed to cool anything else.
