My pc is running very slow even when i just started my pc and try to search something on Windows or open up Google chrome. When it comes to gaming even worse, i tried to Alt+Tab and open up Google Chrome and it'll get very lag and sometimes the game will crash. My game will freezes when it just started and about hours of gaming, it'll still freezes when playing the game. Any idea of fixing this?

Specs:
i3 2120
4GB RAM
BIOSTAR H61MGV3
GTX 1050
CORSAIR VS650
500GB HDD
Windows 10

Ps: I'm wondering if i should upgrade my HDD to 1TB 7200rpm and add a 240GB SSD to it.

Solution
Check your RAM usage while these things are open. You only have 4GB of RAM which isn't enough to do multitasking. Windows 10 alone takes up 2GB and once you add a game and chrome you're probably running off of your page file which comes from your hard drive or SSD.
My computer is not overheating and my GPU clocks are not dropping either.

Im using ASUS GPU Tweak II and temperatures are fine. I cleaned my pc and my fans are spinning.

I agree there. 4GB is very little.
Going to 8GB may help quite a bit.
As it stands, I am using 6GB of Ram, granted I have about 20 pages of Firefox open - but that only consumes 1.3GB.
So I definitely agree with the above solution. ideally, maybe you can borrow some from a friend for an hour or 2 and see if it makes a difference before committing.

My Fortnite and Google chrome are taking about 2GB of memory. I can upgrade my RAM to 8GB but if i upgrade the RAM i won't be able to add a SSD to it until i have the money.

Which to upgrade first is up to you. RAM is your best option as you will notice much less slow down if any while in game or multitasking. If you choose to stick with 4GB an SSD will help slightly with the lag but you will still notice a lot of slowdown. An SSD is much faster than a HDD but it's still many times slower than RAM.

I dont have much friend that have PC/Gaming PC. If i'm gonna choose the option to save more money to do both at a time, this will probably end up about 4-5 months

If i'm gonna go with the RAM, i have 2 sticks of 2GB RAM, should i buy 2 sticks of 4GB RAM or a stick of 8GB RAM?

I only have 2 slots for RAM, i'm wondering if buying a used RAM stick any good? Because i still have some extra money for SSD.
