PC is trying to automatically update to Windows10

I have Windows8.1 on my PC and I checked for updates like I do now and again. I have PC set to auto install important updates. Anyways there were 3 optional updates and 1 Important update which was the Download Windows 10. I wanted to install the 3 optional ones so I selected them and clicked on install and it started the process of installing the Windows10 update which I don't want right now, maybe later.
I tried the optional updates several times and same thing happens with the Windows10 update.
I tried trouble shooting option and it said it made some changes to updates and to try again.
I did and same thing happened.
I tried restarting PC and tried again with same results.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check for Windows update patch KB3035583 and uninstall it and dont install it again when Windows update wants to install it again.

set the update on security device to show update and let you choose the one you want to install remove the auto option .

I would also uninstall the other update you need for 8.0and 8.1 to get windows 10, as well.
