PC isn't running good on games..

Hey guys,
I just bought the GTX970 last week and somehow my PC disappoints me now.
Triple A games work fine, especially Fallout 4 (almost the whole time 60fps on ultra), but in games like CS:GO, Verdun and Total War: Attila my PC just disappoints me somehow.
In CS:GO and Verdun it's almost the whole time 20 fps on every setting, the same at Verdun.
And TW: Attila is just running slow. It takes me up to 2 minutes to load the next turn.
Here is what you need to know about my system:
System: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphic card: MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G
CPU: AMD FX6300
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA78LMT-USB3
Ram: Kingston 2x4GB
Disk: Hitachi Deskstar HDS721010CLA332
Im sorry if there is anything I forgot.
Any help would be appreciated.

Your system is a bit out of balance. Your CPU is a bit weak for CPU intensive games, especially if you are running at stock speeds and a really robust overclock will be pushing your motherboard to the limit. This is worse on games that use only one of the CPU's three modules.

Get a decent aftermarket CPU cooler, overclock the snot out of your CPU, and see what improvements you get.
