I've been spending the past two weeks researching the parts for a gaming PC, for a replacement of my Xbox that I don't really play anymore. I would want to play BF3 and GTA5 on high settings. I don't need Ultra/Max settings. Note that this system is strictly for gaming and surfing the web, so if you have any suggestions to help lower the price please feel free to list them :) And my budget is $650 but the list I have is a little over that, and it could be lower.

You'll have to go with a case that gives you more value. This is what I did, I changed your RAM to a less expensive set that has the same specs, and I changed the Case for a good Rosewill Challenger case with the USB 3 ports in front panel. Then I upgraded your graphics to a much better GPU, and it saved you about $40.

Here's the thing. The case that that I chose has a button to turn the LEDS that come with it off. More than likely I'm going to have this PC on standby all the time. So with the Rosewill challenger there's no way to turn the LEDS off unless you unplug them. And I don't want to sleep with a bright LED on. Also the case I chose has better cable managing and more space and I have an Aftermarket heatsink and fan. Are there any other options?
BTW the ram is fine.

It seems you have everything figured out buddy, I was making suggestions based on your budget. Sometimes you have to compromise. You can always get a case without LEDs and/or better cable management for less money as well. But the case is always an issue for a lot of builders as it's more of an aesthetic thing.

Seems like a good case, can't say for experience though. I can tell you I moved some 120mm fans from my old Antec 900 case into my Antec 300 version 2 case, I didn't want LED's so I just cut the LED wiring problem solved :)

Thanks! maybe I'll just get the Zalman Z9-U3. The only con with that case is that the USB 3.0 ports have USB headers. So you'll have to plug it to the back of the case. But I can always get a 3.0 adapter.

You don't want bright shiny LEDs?!?! Haha everyone has their own tastes but I picked my case based on how many led fans I could put in it :) I do turn it off at night though and I can understand why you don't want LEDs on at that time. BTW I like the build ismaeljrp suggested

I like LED's, but not when I'm sleeping. I liked ismaeljrp's build, but not the case. I liked the case I chose which was the CM 960 II but I was trying to keep the price low so I changed it to the Zalman Z9-U3 (which has leds). Do you have any case suggestions? BTW here's my temporary/new build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/UXpM

Oh I was being kinda sarcastic I am a lot. Get whatever case you want its kinda a minor thing mainly just pick based on what you want it to look like. By build I wasn't referring to the case pretty much the CPU, GPU, PSU and motherboard.
